Private Car Products
The new Private Car product includes a standard scheme and a ‘value' option that replaces the existing ‘Online' suite of products. A single premium will be returned for every risk quoted, providing you with our most competitive and appropriate quote for the insured. The product is split into four brands, all of which offer our standard Private Car cover. Download policy documents
- Provident Headstart- Designed for young people, which provides cover for drivers aged between 17 and 24 years. The driving other cars extension is not available for this profile.
- Provident Manoeuvre- Aimed to meet the needs of male drivers aged between 25 and 49 years, recognising that more experienced drivers are lower risk.
- Provident First Lady- Developed with female drivers between 25 and 49 years in mind, with additional discounts for those whose spouse or common law partner has an alternative vehicle for their own use.
- Provident Infinity- Targeted at drivers over 50 years, recognising the more experienced driver.
Commercial Vehicle
This product provides a competitive rate for commercial vehicles of up to 4 litres, with a maximum vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes. Drivers who rely on smaller commercial vehicles for their livelihood can have peace of mind at an affordable price with the tailor-made Commercial Vehicle policy. Download policy documents
PVP (Value Protection Cover)
PVP is a unique product within the marketplace . It helps to financially protect motorists against the effects of the depreciating value of their vehicles in the event of a total loss.

- Provident Standard- Our Standard policy is a value-for-money product, offering competitive rates and high quality service at an affordable price. It provides cover for a wide range of vehicles and drivers of different ages and levels of experience. Download policy documents
- Lady Driva- Lady Driva has been tailored for women and offers a competitive rate with discounts to reflect the lower risk profile of the female driver aged between 21 and 80 years. With this product, we also grant an additional year's bonus if the policyholder has been claim and conviction free for over 5 years. Download policy documents
- Second Car- Second Car has been developed with female drivers in mind, specifically those whose spouse or common law partner has an alternative vehicle for their own use. Several discounts are available to attract female drivers who may have earned little, if any, bonus for themselves, but have been a named driver on their partner's policy. For example, if the policyholder's actual NCD is between 0 and 2 years, a discount equivalent of 3 years NCD is granted. - Thirty Plus- We recognise that more experienced drivers are lower risk, so we have tailored the Thirty Plus product to meet the needs of people between 30 and 80 years.
